Hello, I am Dan Busser. I was born in a town outside of Dayton, Ohio. I received my degree from Eastern Kentucky University. This is where I met my wife, who was born and raised in Arcadia California. She brought me to California in 1985. Since I have lived in California longer than any other state, I now call this state home. I first started teaching at Holy Angels in Arcadia then moved to St. Thomas Aquinas of Monterey Park then to Holy Name of Mary in San Dimas. While I was at my last school I had many different jobs which I enjoyed doing. I coached many different sports and I was the Athletic Director. I will be coaching teams as needed and I will also be the Athletic Director for IC. My wife of 23 years is a religion teacher and dance teacher at Alverno High School. She has been teaching there for over 20 years. I have a son, Dean, who graduated from Damien High and is currently studying at Mt. SAC. I also have a daughter, Colleen, who is a Senior at Alverno High. When I do have free time I enjoy backpacking in the wilderness, watching and playing a variety of sports, and spending time with my family. I am excited and honored to be a part of a wonderful family here at Immaculate Conception School. |
